About Us
The Buzzing Flutterby Nursery at Navajo Grove is a neighborhood beautification project situated at the base of the East Jefferson/Chalmers neighborhood. We are transforming multiple vacant lots into a Community Demonstration Garden on Navahoe Street, nestled in the core of Detroit, Michigan.
Here at The Buzzing Flutterby, we‘ll be nurturing a green space that offers a natural retreat for the community.
By eliminating the adjacent blight, we're fostering a community dedicated to sustainable land reuse right in our own neighborhood.

The Buzzing Flutterby Leadership team and Local volunteers, come together to clean up the garden site once a year. Our organization believes in being ”HANDS ON“ with our cleanup efforts, while we raise funds for professional tree removal services.
EYESORE GONE! Over the summer, we diligently worked getting the abandoned concession food truck removed! This was one of our BETTER ACCOMPLISHMENTS for 2024!
